Ali Abdaal
YouTuber → Creator CEO
Public industry example — not a client engagement.
The doctor who became a multi-million dollar creator CEO
“Making videos was never about brand deals for me. It was about teaching — and building something sustainable.”
Ali Abdaal started where most creators start: a growing YouTube channel, ad revenue, and a handful of sponsorships. The audience was there. The trust was there. But the business underneath it was rented — every month reset to zero.
The shift came when he stopped treating content as the product and started treating it as the top of a system. He packaged what he knew into scalable digital products — most famously the Part-Time YouTuber Academy — and built the funnels, cohorts, and team to sell them on repeat.
Today he runs a full-stack content company doing $4M+ a year: courses, cohorts, and systems that sell whether or not he posts this week. Same audience. Completely different business.
